In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Gabriella Sutton

Student
Gabriella Sutton is an 11th grader passionate about psychology, human behavior, and neuroscience. When she was little, she once read about the power of the brain for a school project. Ever since then, her curiosity about the brain grew, especially regarding the emotional aspect because it resonates with her the most. She has studied it inside and outside of class, and is now inspired to share her story and knowledge. Her TEDx talk is based on society's toxic definition of success, and how we can, and must, bread that stereotype.

Natalia Covelo

Student
Natalia Covelo could sing ever since she could talk, and this early passion led her to discover music therapy. This unique therapy has provided her and others with a space to grow and thrive through various musical expressions. As people become more open about mental health struggles, it's crucial to understand where one can find help, and music therapy is one way.
